it is morning. Joseph – the free horse, is waking up standing. because horses stand while sleeping. he is thinking. thinking hard – he does not know what is the proper way to live. he does not know what to do with his life. “how to use this marvelous horse potential?” he thinks. he cannot decide what to become – whether to be a politician, a sportsman or an artist. he does not know how to make the world a better place, by his standards of course. all other horses are spending their time feeding, running and mating. they are simple and happy horses. “unconscious ignorants”, he thinks. but Joseph is a special and bothered horse, because he does wonder what is the meaning of life.
je rano. v stoji sa prebudza Jozef – slobodny kon. pretoze kone spia po stojacky. a rozmysla. rozmysla, nevie, ako ma zit, nevie, co ma ist robit. “ako vyuzit tento obrovsky potencial kona?” pyta sa. nevie, ci sa ma stat politikom, sportovcom, alebo umelcom. nevie, ako by zmenil tento svet k lepsiemu – teda na svoj obraz. ostatne kone sa iba pasu, nahanaju a sulozia. su to jednoduche kone a su stastne. “neuvedomeli ignoranti”, pomsli si. ale Jozef je specialny utrapeny kon, pretoze nevie, aky je zmysel zivota.
